ELL-OH! ELLOH!!!!

Haha. Weird way of saying hello horhs? Haha.

During Recess, the 1D councillors came to give the whole class hongbaos. Then inside on sweets and a note that read: "HAPPY NEW YEAR! From: Wen Ting, Geolin, Jia Wen and Jun Min."

So sweet and thoughtful of them loh!

Went for Choir after school today with Wen Hui, Gina, Yi Tzen and Denise. Choir has already started for those who got past via the pre-option form auditions. But for those who got in after putting Choir as your 1st choice for the CCA Option Form, it only starts on 1st February.

JERI!!!! HERE'S THE CHOIR REHERSAL TIME!!!!!!!

MONDAY - 3.30 to 5.30 (After CNY will be extended to 6 in view of the School Anniversary Concert in April and the Choir concert in October.)
WEDNESDAY- 1.15 to 3.30 (DON'T BE LATE! MS YIN WILL KILL YOU!!!)

Choir was FUN!!! The Choir seniors are all REALLYREALLY nice and helpful. One of them was telling me that the NCH Choir has learnt songs in almost every single language except Tamil. In fact, we did a African song today, called "Hama Lulu".

It's really repetitive and easy, cuz' 3/4 of the song is just singing "hama lulu, hama lulu, hama lulu, hama lulu." for the Altos. The Sopranos' parts are a little harder, cuz' the Sec2 Sopranos are doing the semichorus. Ms Yin (Choir conductor and instructor) says that there will be ACTIONS. I DON'T WANT ACTIONS!!!!!!!!!! The "Dancing Queen" actions will probably be BEAUTIFUL compared to the "Hama Lulu" actions. THANKFULLY, she still hasn't come up with it yet. Phew.

Then we did a Japanese song that the Senior Choir already knows by heart. I just follow along lo, bo pian. HAHA.The tune quite nice lah, but the Japanese words are hard to sing. The seniors were nice and helped me, though. YAY for the Choir seniors!

Afrah asked me what we did in Choir. VERY SIMPLE. Sing, Drink water, Learn songs and watch Soprano2 getting scolded by Ms Yin.

Denise told me they got scolded on Friday. I didn't go cuz' had to do class deco.

Then Soprano2 kena scolded AGAIN today. Apparently, Ms Yin wasn't happy cuz' they keep cannot get the pitch.

The WORST thing about Choir is that we have to stand for like, 2hours STRAIGHT. But the Altos got to sit down for awhile cuz' we did very well. The Altos are STEADY lah! And I think it's because the Altos make us 1/2 of the Choir. Which is a lot, because that means that Soprano1 and Soprano2 occupy 1/4 of the Choir each.

YAY FOR ALTOS!!!!

Haha. Now we're learning another song about "Alishan de gu niang hen piao liang" or something like that, and I have yet to buy my BLACK Choir file.

Aiyo...

On Friday we'll most likely need re-evaluating, since most of the Sec1s are in Alto, and Alto is already big enough. I WANT TO STAY IN ALTO! Which I most likely will, cuz' I should be the only Alto2 in the Sec1 Choir. Most of them are all Alto1s. I saw the paper where Ms Yin wrote all the groupings. I'm the only Alto2, I think. Which is BAD, cuz' when they do warm-ups, their lowest is not MY lowest, and I can't reach their highest note.

Haiix.... BUT AT LEAST I GOT IN, RIGHT?

Haha. Enough about the Choir already. I should be clicking the "PUBLISH POST" button now. HAHA.

HELLOS!!!!

On MSN now, chatting with Ang Chong Yi from the Xiyao SNLX gang.

Hehs.

Went to Xiyao, today was like the average day la. Then went to pick up my BELOVED 5300 from the Nokia repair shop. I MISSED IT SO DAMN MUCH!!!!

It was in the blardy repair shop for a whole fucking week. Actually, it was ready on Thursday, but whenever I badgered Mum to go pick it up, she would go, all,"Orchard Road is not next door, you know?"

SHEESH.

But at least I've got it back now. FINALLY. I miss text messaging with the silver-and-blue keys and being stuck with my brother's old UNRELIABLE 6280. (It's a spare phone now after he got his E65.)

Then I came back and went through Mr Sleepyhead's History notes. Then after they left for class, I snuck online.

Muahahahahahahahaha.

But we're going out for dinner later, and I may go and make my specs if I have time.

Yesyes, I have to wear specs. Haha. But it doesn't really matter, eh? Haha.

Today was a very, very, very, very, very lazy day.

I fell sick last night, came down with the sickening flu. And despite having the flu, poor old me had to drag myself out of bed at approximately 8am in the morning to attend Creative.

Class wasn't it's usual fun without Stephanie, I can tell you that. Now that she's gone, the classroom is a lot....quieter. And it doens't have that warm feeling like it used to. Yeah, there's my beloved darling ShzeYuin, but she's not Steph. I guess it's going to take a bit of getting used to Kah Hui sitting in Steph's place instead. Sigh. Oh well.

Oh yeah, speaking of Stephanie, the Marshmellows broke up. Apparently, this is cuz' Chloe and Stephanie are drifting apart, and me being in a different school and all. I mean, I'm easy and all, but I guess these "gangs" never really last.

Confused? Let me explain.

Firstly, "gangs" are this group of BFFs who always hang out together in a inseperable clique. When it first starts off, they're really close and all, but then there'll be something that pulls them apart.

First it was the Sotongs, then the Sexy Family, then now the Marshmellows.

Anyway, I came back, had Chinese tuition, studied, then fell asleep on top of my Maths textbook.

LOL. I slept for like, 5 hours!!!!

Hehs.

Then afterthat I woke up, continued studying, then eat dinner, and blahblahblah.

PEOPLE, MY MSN IS ON SEMI-HIATUS. I WON'T GO ON LIKE....EVERYDAY, KAY?

110th post!!!

So fast sehh... within 4 months I'm already at 110th.

Home Ec. today was FUN!!!! I know I always say that Home Ec. is fun, but seriously, it is BLARDY fun. No homework. Plus 3 periods of fooling aorund with food. Shiok mann!!!

We made ROCK BUNS today. As in ROCK plus BUN. Then me and Jeri were mixing the flour and egg together when we realised we got too much egg, so too watery. Then we go add flour, add until the whole thing TOO DRY.

Then no more egg liao, so Ms Koh went around to see if anyone's batter was too watery. Then she made 4Clothes give us some of his WATER-LIKE batter in exchange for our ROCK-LIKE batter.

Better la, but still quite hard. At least can make shapes.

I had just formed the first heart-shaped cookie on my baking tin when Bernice came over and asked if she could have some of our batter. So we gave her some, she gave us some of hers.

Then me and Jeri made 4 more heart-shaped cookies (My trademark,) one BIG smiley face (Jeri's trademark), a spiral cookie, a lump, a question mark and a big "J".

Put the cookies into the oven for 15min. The 15min the cookies were baking made me SUPER DAMN hungry la! The smell was SO strong and SO nice. Mmm...

Then we took the cookies out and were playing with the shapes. Suddenly, out of the blue, Jeri go and turn the question mark upside down. And it formed a small letter "j"! So I took the big letter "J" and she took the small letter "j". The sizes were about the same though...

Mmm...

Then for Science, Ms Ng brought us to the Lab to play with the bunsen burners, cuz' bunsen burners and featured in Monday's test but it's not in our textbooks. We PRACTISED boiling WATER over the bunsen burner, and I kept calling the air-hole ASSHOLE.

Cuz' a few lessons ago, Ms Ng mispronounced air-hole so it sounded like asshole. Since then, 1D has been calling the air-hole ASSHOLE. Then she told us that in America, rubber is slang for

Amirul went spastic, I swear. I mean, he's ALREADY crazy enough on normal days, even singing songs from High School Musical purposely off-key, trying to imitate Sharpay. But this time, he went completely bananas.

Then we started talking about rubber plantations and rubber trees until Ms Ng had to tell us to shut up.

After school, A LOT of people stayed back. Not to help me with the CNY decorations, of course. But they did help until they had to leave. There was NPCC, Wind Orchestra (Band), Infocomm Club and the CL students had to stay back to re-do a compo.

Oh, and Bernice had to stay back for tutoring.

Eventually only left me, Jeri, Bernice, Ang Yixuan and Wen Hui. So we do do do until Mdm Siak left, then Erica came over and chatted and chatted, and made Bernice ROFLMAO with her jokes (Which don't seem the least bit like jokes, they're so casual)

Around 3.30, we all left together. I went with Bernice to Compass Point, AYX and Wen Hui went home and Jeri walked to the bus-stop.

Actually, me and Bernice could walk to Compass, but because I am a big, fat lazy pig, we took the 372 instead. The bus stop RIGHT SMACK outside the side-gate only has 372, and it goes to Compass. (Actually, to be exact, it stops OUTSIDE Compass, and we have to cross this big muddy field. Thank God for black shoes.)

Then we went in, and Bernice treated me to KFC. So nice of her loh. She treated me to cheese fries, and we shared a Coke. We were talking about P6 life, and I was telling her about LJY. She agrees that LJY needs a tight slap.

Walked around Compass, and we saw this shop that sold DAMN NICE accessories on the 2nd floor. If I'm not wrong, it should be opposite 77th Street. But the stuff there was all DAMN expensive. But super, super, super nice seh.

After that I went home.

And had my beauty sleep.

Just now, I had the biggest shock of my life when my mum came home carrying a LeCoqSportif plastic bag and grinning. Then she just passed the bag to me and asked me to open it. She bought me a bag. So I was admiring the bag, until I saw the price tag.

WTF.

She just told me it was my gift for getting into the Choir.

MY MOM BOUGHT ME A $70 LECOQSPORTIF HANDBAG AS A GIFT FOR GETTING INTO THE CHOIR?!

All that and I get to sing too? It's just.... WOW.

Haha. It's getting late, I'd better go revise my Maths if I want to actually PASS my Math test on Wednesday. (I have a good chance of failing, considering I'm doing negative integers until yao si le. Haiis...)

HEEEEEELLLOOOOOOOSSSSSS!!!!!

Stayed back again today, but this time I only stayed until 4.30. BUTBUTBUT, Afrah and I finished MORE WORK than the 6 of us did yesterday. In 2 hours, we completed the back board and yesterday's half-done notice board.

So pro right? LOL.

Then all the notices, we moved to the back board after I finished it. Wait, actually, Afrah went to the Library to use the comp to do her CCA Option Form while I was in class slogging away. I bought this packet of coloured paper from the bookshop cuz' we ran out of red paper for the other notice board.

So I stapled the MEASLY 2 RED SHEETS onto the board, then used the rest for the back board. I dododo, never realise that Afrah came back. So she was standing behind me while I stapled the black stars onto the board, then when I turn around to get another star, I was shocked mann. HEHS.

I stapled the coloured sheets onto the board, then somewhere near the side, in the middle of the EXISTING notices, I stapled this BIG star and 9 small ones. Each star was hand-drawn, hand-cut and stapled by YOURS TRULY. Then now I staple until my lower arm muscle hurting like mad already la.

Aiyo, next time no need to go gym do workout. Just stay in class and staple staple staple can tone my lower arm liao. LOL.

Then we wanted to go bookshop and buy some more coloured paper, but then BLURBLURBLUR me forgot that the bookshop closes at 3, so we went to the canteen and bought ice-creams instead.

For the part where she goes "NO, NO, NO!!!!" and screams, I was actually CHASING after her with the ice-cream and threatening to drip on her. Muahaha.

This is what our front notice board looks like. Even though you can't really see it in the big shot, there are specks of gold paint all over, which Afrah made with my gold paint and a toothbrush. For the gold thing, I painted a piece of square drawing block gold in Pastoral Care while Mdm Siak was talking away. Then when Mdm Siak was giving Bernice tuition adn Wen Hui and Gina were waiting for her, I asked Wen Hui to help me with the words, since she knows calligraphy.

Okay, I guess that's all I have to say.

Hello... I've just been to submit my CCA Option Form online. Here's a screenshot:


Don't tease me about my options, kay? Cuz' we MUST choose 2 Performing Arts, 2 Uniformed Groups, 1 Sports and 1 Clubs and Societies.


Then my school only has 3 uniformed groups: NCC, NPCC and Red Cross (NCHSRCY). Then since NCC is for BOYS ONLY, (HOW DARE THEY SAY GIRLS ARE A HASSLE.... Grrr.....), only gor RCY and NPCC left. So no choice loh, put both loh.

Then the Clubs and Societies, I don't want to join any of them, so I just anyhow go select Photography Club, since I have a TEENY inclination towards photography.

Basketball is cuz' I got in already, so I put 2nd choice. Then Choir, you all know la.

But the NCHS Choir is DAMN good.

Oh yeah, Afrah and I MAY be doing an item for August's Nan Chiau Superstar. MAY only. but if we do, I SERIOUSLY think Afrah should do most of the lines. Her voice is a MILLION times better than mine, and I've been telling her TIME AND TIME AGAIN to try for the Choir, but she simply refuses to try out for anything other than her BELOVED NPCC.

If she tries out, she's DEFINETELY a Soprano2, same as Jeri.

Well, anyway, school today was FUNNN!!!! Cuz' we stayed back to decorate the class for the CNY Class Decoration Competition, then I'm in charge. Afrah stayed back cuz' she's the Vice-Chairperson, and she has to OVERSEE the proceedings.

Assembly ended around 2.10, as usual, then got CCA briefing, so stayed back for another 10min. Then 1D had to stay back another 5min cuz' half the class didn't get the CCA Online Registration Help Guide. Then Claire was freaking out cuz' she was already late for MSP (Malay Special Programme). So she go grab the class key from Amirul, then run off already.

Then we were complaining about Amirul this Amirul that, then he was like,"Eh, I also late already leh! I need to go Anderson leh! Ang Mo Kio!" Then Afrah and I just walked past him and don't care about him. LOL.

Then went to grab a bite, THE FRIGGIN' BOOKSHOP WAS CLOSED. By the time we started it was 3pm. BLEH la.

Afrah, Audrey, Wen Hui, Me, Ang Yi Xuan and Yu Han stayed back. Jeri stayed until just after lunch, then had to go for tuition.

Started on the notice board. Originally, we covered the board with mahjong paper and started painting it red. Then by the time we finished up all the red paint we hadn't even finished a QUARTER of the board.

While Afrah and me were doing the notice board, the rest were stapling ang pows together to make an ang pow chain. Then they ran out of staples, so Ang Yi Xuan had to go to ask her friends from 1C if they had any.

Then at around 4, we got so blardy fed-up, so Afrah and I went to Compass Point to buy the materials needed.

Originally, AYX told us to go to Home-Fix next to KFC, but we went in, saw Popular and went into Popular. AND AFRAH HAD HER POPULAR CARD!!!!! Discounts, hello? We ended up buying a box of staples (the stapler BULLETS, not the STAPLERS, to all those who still call staples "bullets"), some paintbrushes and a load of A3 red-card paper.

After paying with my weekly allowance, we went down to B1 to buy KFC back for the hardworking babes.

We bought CHEESE FRIES!!!!! So nice loh. But Audrey told us that AYX was slacking when we were gone. Apparently, she invited her 1C friends over and PARTIED WHILE WE WERE NOT AROUND. And she made a mess of the entire classroom, the bitch.

Then Yu Han and AYX were "taking a walk", so Audrey, Wen Hui, me and Afrah VERY KINDLY finished up all 2 packets of cheese fries. Then we blast music and sit down there and shake leg. As the proverb goes, NO WORK, NO CHEESE FRIES!!!!!

LOL.

Then around 5.15, Claire finished her MSP and came to class while Afrah and I were stapling the red papers all over the notice board. Then we kena scolded for eating all the fries. LOL.

I guess that's all ba. Have to go already, bye guys!

OMG.... CHOIR STARTED ALREADY AND I DON'TKNOW?????????

This is not possible. This is freakin me out. OMG.......... WTF la. Okay, there's Choir on a Friday. I MUST GO ON FRIDAY!!!!! DIE-DIE MUST GO!!!!

Well, school today was KINDA okay, I guess.

FIRST PERIOD: LITERATURE

Nothing much, hehe.

SECOND PERIOD: P.E.

Ms Toh made us run 2 rounds of the field, each within 1min30secs (for the girls) and 1min28secs (for the guys). Then everyone run like mad liddat. First round, Amirul and Liang Zhou (4Clothes) were the SLOWEST. HAHA. Then second round, Liang Zhou and Clarine exceed time limit, so must do push-ups. Clarine did LADIES' push-ups, cuz' it's SO MUCH EASIER. Then Ms Toh went,all,"By the end of my P.E. this year, Liang Zhou will be the strongest boy in 1D, cuz' he every week do push-ups!" LOL. It's true la, on average, he does 20 push-ups a week. LOL

THIRD AND FOURTH PERIOD: MUSIC.

Funniest period of the day. Initially, it was SUPER-BORING, cuz' Mdm Ngo was droning on and on about stuff that we learnt in Pre-Grade1 Piano. I'M DEAD SERIOUS. Stuff like C D E F G A B C is an octave, and quarter-notes and stuff like that. Then IDUNNOWHY I start laughing my ass off for no apparent reason. So I was laughing and laughing and laughing, then Afrah started laughing too. LOL. So we were down there in the back row giggling and giggling. I kept banging my head with my music textbook (It's something I do whenever I LMAO) until Mdm Ngo announced that we were going to sing CNY songs. THAT WAS EVEN FUNNIER NIA!!!!!! The vocal on the track was DAMN high pitched, like all those cao high-pitched, wayang opera voices. Then Clarine go try to follow, and I ended up laughing EVEN HARDER. Then we sing one song at the back got a loud "HEI!". The WHOLE 1D was like "HEI!" until everyone laugh. I was hiding behind my textbook and giggling at the vocal, then when I said "HEI!", I laughed EVEN HARDER and ended up falling over my chair into the empty chair next to mine. LOL.

FIFTH PERIOD: RECESS.

Went back to class to change into my uni before going back to canteen. Most of the class was in the classroom, wearing their uni OVER their P.E. Then Luthman was there CHANGING into his uni top. As in, LITERALLY changing. Taking off his P.E. top and wearing his uni top!!!! Somemore sitting down leh. But I have to say that Luthman is like, DAMN PRO la! He mananged to change so blardy fast, somemore NEVER REVEAL A SINGLE OUNCE OF SKIN!!!! He pro lah.

SITXH PERIOD: GEOGRAPHY.

Nothing much. Except that the Geography Powerpoint slideshow got a MapleStory map, cuz' now we're learning about MAPS. Then all the Maple guys went MAD. As in, LITERALLY mad. they went into RAPTURES about it, discussing the levels and n00bness and stuff.

SEVENTH PERIOD: ENGLISH.

Nothing much. But Miss Mariati gave out the newspapers, and told us to do an assignment based on the personalities featured in today's newspaper. Then, there was this article in Life! about this ESPN soccer presenter. When Afrah saw it, so went simply BANANAS. As in, mad enough for us to send her to the IMH nearby. I mean, Jeri and I DO like Man U, but Afrah is simple N-U-T-S over the Red Devils.

EIGHTH PERIOD: HISTORY.

Mr Wang was walking into class cuz' he thought Miss Mariati left already. Then he walked in, saw Miss Mariati standing near the back, went,"Oops." then went out. Then after Miss Mariati walked out, he walked in with his hands on his hips. "In Style", Clarine calls it. LOL. Other than that, nothing much.

NINTH AND TENTH PERIOD: MATHS.

Nothing much.

That should do it. My day in great detail. Oh yeah, JERI, CAN YOU STAY BACK WITH ME AND AFRAH AND CLARINE ON FRIDAY? WE'RE DOING THE CNY DECORATIONS. ASK YOUR PARENTS, PLEASE????????

MY 10 BIGGEST WISHES

1. MEET MILUBING!!!! -I know it sounds cliched and all, but it's true. THIS IS THE VERY THING I WANT THE MOST IN MY LIFE. Oh, and I want Nic to sign my MLB CD and my stuffed toy heart. xD

2. KNOW GOD MORE AND MORE. -I should probably be feeling ashamed that this isn't FIRST on my list, but I can't help it. I'm being BRUTALLY HONEST. You want sugar-coated-stories? Don't come to my blog. But yeah, this is #2, to know my beloved Daddy God more and more with time.

3. GET MYSELF A GOOD GUY. -This isn't JUST for this year, but until IDUNNOWHEN. But yeah, I want to get a good guy. Which self-respecting girl wouldn't?

4. DO WELL IN THE NCHS CHOIR. -This wish isn't JUST for the SYF 'o9, but for EVERY OTHER SINGLE performance the Choir puts up.

5. GET NIC'S AUTOGRAPH!!!!!!! -I can't seem to emphasize this enough. Honestly. Getting his autograph and meeting them would make me the happiest girl in the world.

6. MY PHONE TO STOP SPOILING. -As crazy as this sounds, I seriously want my phone to stop spoiling. It's either the screen cracks, or the speakers have problem, or my inner antaennae is spoilt. So I want my phone to work PROPERLY for a change.

7. WISDOM. -I shall be holy and not ask for money. Instead, I shall ask for wisdom, since I believe that if I have wisdom, money is not a problem. Besides, having too much money, like Bill Gates, is scary, because you still have to figure out who you wanna give it to after you die. xP

8. FANTASTIC GRADES. -I know EVERY SINGLE KID/YOUTH IN THE WORLD will wish for good grades, but I can't seem to emphasize good grades enough. I REEEALLY don't wanna stay back in Sec1 Express or have to go to Sec2 Normal Academic (Although there IS a chance I'll meet Mr. 1G if I go to N(A).....)

9. BETTER FAMILY TIES. -I seriously need betetr family ties, since my relationship with my mom is NOT THAT GOOD.

10. FRIENDS! -I already have AWESOME friends, but I still can't seem to emphasize how much friends mean to me. I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!!!

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you all I got into the NCHS Basketball team. Jeri took me to take both, but they clash on Monday. The Choir meets on Monday and Friday. Basketball meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Mom wants me to go for Basketball, but I'm choosing Choir. It's not HER CCA. Ultimately, it's ME who'll be having that CCA. It's ME who'll be representing the school. So she has NO RIGHT to force me to join a CCA i don't want to join. No matter how hard she insists on me joining the Basketball team, I'm going for the Choir. And I've made up my mind. =)

Hey yo people!

The day started out dreary enough, with this being the VERY LAST time I'll ever see Stephanie (Yellow Marshmellow) again. So... yeah. She passed me a charm bracelet, (Chloe, me and her have the same one.) a party punch-flavoured lip balm (I don't know if she knows that I love lip GLOSS, not lip BALM. But I love anything she gives me.) and a letter.

A VERY LONG LETTER.

I was reading it and tearing up just now.

Then after that came back, finished up tuition and piano homework, then changed and went for DARE.

Since I haven't gone for DARE for almost 2 months now, it was REALLY cool to be there yet again, basking in the familiarity of it all. I sat with Claris today, and Karyn and the rest of the D.H.L girls. (Sarah and Belinda didn't come.)

SERVICE WAS LIKE, DAMN FUN LA!!!!

Pastor Dan preached about wisdom. Then suddenly, God told him something. Then he told the girls not to settle for second-best, or third-best, or fourth-best, but to settle for the best. And that God has already prepared a man for us, so we don't have to search high and low for the wrong one. And on our wedding day, we will be clothed in white, and walking down the aisle towards the man that God has prepared for us, being really happy.

After service, I came back, had dinner and watched Step Up. Then I went to try to fix my hp.

MY HP IS OFFICIALLY SPOILT. NOT AS IN NORMALLY SPOILT LAH, BUT THE ANTEANNAE INSIDE MY PHONE HAS SPOILT, SO MY NETWORK IS DOWN. SO FOR THE NEXT WEEK OR SO, I'LL BE USING MY SPARE PHONE, ALSO MY BROTHER'S OLD PHONE.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Yesterday went to T3 to pick mum up from her flight back from a business trip to Taipei. And I tell you, T3 ROCKS!!!!

There's a MINI TOONS, a mini.bits (The accessories section at MINI TOONS), and... A CANDY EMPIRE!!!!!!

But if you're expecting a Candy Empire like the one at Vivo, be prepared for a disappointment. They don't have NORMAL Nerds, let alone SPECIAL CandyEmpire-only-Nerds-imported-from-the-US Nerds. Nor do they have Wonka products.

BLECHHS.

Had Home Econs today, and it was BLARDY fun, I tell you. Those taking D&T have absolutely NO IDEA what they're missing out on. LOL.

But, yeah. We made omelette in Home Ec, then the omelette got chicken, green and red peppers, onion and i dunno what else.

As usual, I paired up with Jeri again. Then our omelette fry until chao da liddat (But not as bad as 4Clothes. LOL.) but once add in all the "liao"... WAH. DAMN NICE CAN?

Hehs.

AND THEN HOR, during Science hor, that Bryan suddenly IDUNNOWHY say he want to leave our group and join Amirul's group, which has Cindy, Rachel and WeiQi, I think. But I can understand la, I mean, Bryan was the only guy in our group, so his friends keep teasing him. (DON'T GET ME STARTED ON WHAT ZE MIN WAS GESTURING TO ME IN SCIENCE!!!!!! Grrr...)

So... yeah. Then Afrah and I went to BEG Bryan. And yes, LITERALLY beg. Then he said he'd think about it. GRR....

On top of that, Clarine and I had a silent fight today (Which actually involved passing notes.) which I don't wish to talk about.

All I can say is: Despite Home Ec. being BLARDY fun, the rest of the day was SUCKY. And to top things off, I've got a sore throat. GREAT. THE PERFECT END TO A PERFECT DAY.

I'd better get going. I have to memorise my "script" for Chinese class, or else I'll make a TOTAL, UTTER and COMPLETE fool of myself on Monday when I have to present in front of the HCL class.

BLEHH.

And yes, I DO take Malay. But not by choice. The whole NCHS Express has to take Malay lol. Unless you go a step further, and like Claire, take the Malay Special Programme (MSP). AND TO ALL 6O4-IANS: WE'RE NOT GOING BACK ON THE 6TH. LIANNE HAS VERY KINDLY ARRANGED FOR EVERYONE TO GO BACK ON THE 5TH. So PLEASE don't forget and go back on the 6th, or else you'll be the only 604-ian there standing like a idiot. SO EXTRA.

Anyway, had Malay today, the Malay teacher didn't come. So we spent the Malay period fooling around in class.

Then when we were about to leave for HCL (HCL students go to the Language Centre on the 2nd level, because not the whole 1D is taking HCL.), Liang Zhou (4 Clothes) was about to sit on his chair. Then when he sit down, the whole chair break.

We laugh and laugh and laugh like mad idiots.

But it was SERIOUSLY damn funny la!!!! I mean, his chair was already broken so it wasn't his fault, but it was STILL freaking funny. Hehs.

Then we went up for HCL, HCL teacher wasn't in the classroom yet. So Idunnowho go and say she got EARLY LABOUR. Then we all laugh and laugh, until Jun Chao came down the corridor with Chen Lao Shi behind her. Wahlao. BUT, Chen Lao Shi stopped to talk to a Sec2 teacher along the way. Then while she was talking, we were like,"Talk longer! Talk longer! Talk longer!"

LOL.

During HCL, ANG Yi Xuan, Cindy and Claire did some newspaper presentation thing. Wah, Claire was freaking out since LAST NIGHT lehhs. Then she got it over and done with. Haha.

I think Ang YiXuan was the MOST confident, but I think Cindy's details and the reflection was the best.

Haha.

Then after that I forget liaos....

After school hor, 1D was released early, so I went to the canteen to buy a grape ice-cream, thn I dripped ONE DROP on Jeri's shoulder. It was intentionally la. Cuz' the first time both of us buy ice-cream hor, the "stupid ice-cream" (said by Jeri.) dripped all over the floor and BROKE into half. So Jeri swore she'd never eat ice-cream again.

SO, I've been TRYING to drip ice-cream on her in a bid to get her to eat ice-cream again.

LOL.

AND I FINALLY DRIPPED IT ON HER TODAY! But she was disgusted, thus she didn't buy an ice-cream. So it's counted as HALF the battle bahhs.

JERI FINALLY UPDATED HER BLOG!!!! AND JERILENE GOH, I AM GOING TO KILL YOU FOR REMINDING ME ABOUT THE SHOOTER-NAME THING. HIS NAME IS OBVIOUSLY NOT JASON LA! AND NOW ASH HAS OFFICIALLY HUMILIATED AFRAH AND ME.=(. WELL, NOT REALLY ME BUT AFRAH. AND I THINK JASON TOLD SHOOTER. BUT ANYHOW, I'M SO GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was FUNN!!!! Had Lit. today, saw Miss Lim for the first time this week cuz' she was absent on Monday. AND I LOVE LITERATURE!!!!!!

And then me and Afrah went totally C-R-A-Z-Y!!!! WHEE!~

AND JERILENE GOH, PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE DON'T TRANSFER TO ANDERSON!!!!! ME AND AFRAH AND ASH AND CLARINE AND CLAIRE AND AUDREY AND THE WHOLE 1D WILL MISS YOU ALOTALOT!!!!

And here's the 10 reasons not to leave NCHS that I owe you.
1. I'm in NC. And so are Afrah, Ash, Clarine, Claire, Audrey, Michelle, Jun Chao, Bernice, Wen Hui, Mabel, Gina and Yee Tzhen.

2. There's only ONE oneDYNAMITE 'o8. And it's HERE, in NCHS.

3. You'll have to start all over- make new friends, adapt to the new teachers, blahblahblah...

4. The NCHS shoes and socks are BLACK, so you don't have to worry about dirtying them.

5. The ice-cream from the canteen!!! If you leave, who am I going to drip ice-cream on on the way home? LOL.

6. There's always the GAY TABLE outside the canteen. Come On, don't tell me you don't remember the Gay Table.

7. You'd probably have to buy a new set of books and a whole new uni and stuff like that.

8. You'd be so used to the NCHS system already.

9. If you leave, who's going to walk home with me and wait for the 854 to come with me? And who's going to be my best friend?

10. I'd miss you.

THERE, JERI. YOUR 10 REASONS NOT TO LEAVE NCHS. I owe it to you, since you already listed your 10 reasons why you want to transfer. (BTW, about the Choir thing right, if you really want to get into the NCHS Choir, you can always put it as your 1st choice. I think they'd let you get in.)

SAD NEWS #1:
STEPHANIE "Yellow Marshemellow" SIM GOT INTO THE SCGS CHOIR.
You're probably scratching your head and wondering why that's sad news. It's sad because the SCGS Choir meets at the same time our tuition is on. Saturday morning. And thus, I won't EVER see her again. =(((((((((((((((((((((

SAD NEWS #2:
JERILENE DIDN'T GET INTO THE NCHS CHOIR.
It's probably cuz' she was phlegmy on the audition date, and probably because they either don't have anymore space for Altos and Soprano2s. And she was SO nervous on the audition date. But anyhow, Jeri, if you REALLY want it, you can always put it as your 1st choice. Even if THAT doesn't work, I'd willingly drop out of the Choir for you. And then there's a spare slot, so YOU can take my place.

SAD NEWS #3:
I SERIOUSLY think I am going to fail my HCL this year. And my Maths. And probably my History and Chinese History, since I always fall asleep in class. HCL is because last year's HIGHEST HCL grade for 1D 'o7 is...... *drum rolll*

But actually hor, taking CL in secondary school is more worth it. Apparently, according to my cousin, who took HCL in secondary school, JC Chinese is DAMN easy. She took HCL in secondary school and got a C5, so she chose to take CL in JC. (But if you take HCL in secondary school and use the HCL grade as your JC CL grade, you can skip 2 years of CL.)

And she said that JC Chinese is PEANUTS. It's all freaking MULTIPLE-CHOICE.

I SO regret taking HCL. But I have to remind myself I'm going through 4 years of PURE TORTURE just to get 2 bonus points for my O levels.\

I think that's enough for now, it's 10.38 and I need to go pack my bag and SLEEP.

Okay, okay. NCHS is officially freaking me out.

So far, we've got a HCL common test on the 28th, a Science common test in the 5th week (Date yet to be confirmed) and a Maths test NEXT FLIPPING TUESDAY.

ON TOP OF THAT, other schools have 7 examinable subjects. Here at NCHS, we have 11. (Or is it 12?)

We have the usual:
English.
HCL.
Maths.
Science.
Literature.
Geography.
History.

ON TOP OF THAT, we have:
Chinese History. (Examinable)
Malay. (Examinable)
Music. (Examinable)
Art. (Examinable)
PE. (Non-Examinable, apart from NAPFA. Thank God.)

Plus, a class test every chapter.

THEY ARE TOTALLY OUT TO KILL US.

Other than that, I'm quite enjoying school.

Chinese History today, but the HCL students went in 20min late and missed half the period (YAY!!!! And our periods are 40/45 minutes long)

Then cuz' SUPER-FORGETFUL me forgot to bring my pencil case, I borrowed Ash's GIGANTIC blue-and-green Converse pencil case.

And put my handphone in it.

Then I unzipped the pencil case and put it face down so that the speakers were facing up, then I lie on the table and played Daughtry's "Over You" at the LOWEST POSSIBLE VOLUME.

Hehs. So all I heard was the music, not the Chinese History teacher droning on and on about Qin Shihuang and all the other emperors from the shitty Chinese dynasties.

BLEH.

As Clarine put it, 我们连新加坡History都搞不好，还要我们学China History.
Translated: We can't even get Singapore's history right and they want us to learn China's history.

SHEESH.

The people who plan the subjects at Nan Chiau must never have been teenagers themselves.

At least next semester isn't so bad. Next semester we have Chinese Calligraphy, which is a MILLION times better than listening to Ms. Pan talk about the importance of Chinese history.

Chinese history is worse than History, but History is also SUPER-BORING.

During yesterday's History period, I was so bored that I ended up poking Clarine (who sits next to me) with my ballpoint pen. Then when she got fed-up, I finished reading LBD:The Great Escape behind my History textbook.

Now you know I'm not as guai as I make myself out to be. LOL.

And now you know why no teacher in the right state of mind would EVER make a a Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson. Let alone a Councillor.

But the 2F, 2G, 2H and 2I councillors are all pai kia one. (No offence to the councillors in those 4 classes.)

At least Literature and English are interesting. Though they are FREAKINGLY SIMPLE. Everything that they're teaching now, I learnt in Creative Horizons in P5.

But at least I pay attention in class. Or TRY to. But I've told Clarine to poke me HARD with her ballpoint pen whenever she sees me having a shut-eye in class.

Okay, it's 11.17 now, I shall make myself scarce and go to sleep. Jeri's dad is giving me a lift from tomorrow until Friday, and I have to be at her HDB block by 6.40, so I'd better sleep early and wake up at 6.15.

Hey guys!

I know this is a really late post, but like, WHATEVER!

Today was a BORING day. Well, except for the fact that I went for SNLX today!!!! YAY!!!

I LOVE the Xiyao SNLX gang!!!! They ROCK!!!!

For once, I actually went EARLY. Then Yiyun was like, DAMN happy that I came lah! Then Huining, me, Yiyun, LX and Sarah started crapping and crapping.

Then after that played Whacko. Yiyun keep sabo-ing Yifeng, so Yifeng kena a LOT of times. LOL. Me? I never kena at all. Cuz my name is hard to remember mahhs. =.="

Then played Dog and Bone. I'm getting quite good at it now, cuz' we used to play it in GEMS all the time.

Came home, studied SOME MORE. But this time, I did Science. Cuz' the common test is in Week5, and I don't have a tutor, and I DON'T WANNA FAIL!

Besides, the Science teacher seems really confident that we'll do well. Haha.

I think I'm JUST ABOUT done with my Geography content page now. I shan't do the History one. I'll just tell Mr Wang that I didn't bring.

Did 101 things today.

No la, not really 101. But I did do a lot of things today.

Firstly, woke up at 8.30 and went for Creative. Saw my beloved YELLOW. Sigh. May not see her EVER again if she gets into the SCGS Choir, since it meets on Saturday at the same time of our tuition.

I'll miss her.

Then after that, went to buy lunch and buy my HCL workbook (The STUPID bookshop out of stock. IDIOTIC luhhs.), my poster paint (NEED TO STOCK UP URGENTLY.) and a new Chinese E-dictionary. (It's my 5th one in 2 years.)

I need to keep changing my E-dictionaries because I either lose them or they spoil.

Then went to go trim my hair. I didn't want to, but Mum insisted. So bo pian loh, go trim loh. Then now my hair is like, DAMN hair to tie. Bleargh. At least this time, Mum let me cut my fringe. I am SO sick and tired of having the same long fringe for years and years.

Well, actually, I've had the same hairstyle since P4. Bleargh.

But now my fringe is just below my nose. And I can't tie it up, so I have to let it down. And if NCHS doesn't allow, then I just go cut bangs loh. Like Vany and Jeri.

Then came back, slogged and did homework. Finished up the work that the other kids did in HCL class when I didn't have my book, except for the zao ju, that one I'm going to copy from either Cindy or Jeri or Claire.

After 1.5 hours of slogging, I went swimming.

I was tryING to teach my MUM how to do the freestyle somersault, and then they whole pool was like, looking at us.

I know it's embarrasing, but it's also VERY tiring to have to keep doing the somersault.

Geez.

Then went for dinner at one of my Dad's client's shop. I had curry fish head, sambal chicken and BLACK PEPPER CRAB.

All spicy meals.

But BLACK PEPPER CRABS ARE LOVE!

Hehs.

After this post, I have to go revise for the HCL common test on the 28th, and the Science common test somewhere in the 5th week. The rest I don't know, but I think should be 5th to 6th week ba.

I am turning into a WORKAHOLIC.

But I can't help it. They give truckloads of work and push you REAL HARD here at NCHS. it sounds pretty much like YeeJun's type of school.

I have to go revise now.

I was so gan dong la! I mean, Jeri could have gone ahead with the rest. But no, she actually WAITED FOR ME TO FINISH COPYING THE WORKSHEET!!!!

Hellos!


Just got back from school. Though school ends at 12.40 on Friday, I had to stay back for Choir re-audition.


Not exactly a re-audition, but because I had a sore throat on Monday, so the conductor asked me to try again today so that she could re-evaluate me. Apparently on Monday, she put me under the Alto group. She wanted me to re-audition in case I'm supposed to be Soprano2 instead.


Jeri was there, Bernice was there cuz' she had to leave early on Monday, and Wen Hui was there even though she already got into the Choir. Jeri had LOTS of phlegm, and kept coughing. So I made her drink lots of water. Hehs. Claire and Afrah were SUPPOSED to be going to the auditions too, but then Afrah had a SECOND NPCC interview. Claire. Well, let's say that Claire was with us until OUTSIDE the audition room, where she chickened out and ran down.


Anyway, after the auditions, I'M STILL ALTO! What a relief. Cuz' among all those who got in, I think I'm one of the three or four who are Altos. The rest are Sopranos. Like Stephanie.


About my school day... Hmm...


We only had eight periods today, nine plus Recess. First period Geography, three periods of Home Econs, Two periods of Science, one English and one CME. Actually, they split the class into half. Half is taking D&T, the other half is taking Home Econs.


And I'm taking Home Econs.


So, anyway, our Home Econs teacher is Ms Koh, who is VERY young.


Today, we made orange wedges. As in orange agar-agar ON TOP of the orange skin. It looked SO MUCH like orange!!! Hehs.


Jeri and I forgot to collect ours during recess, and Ms Koh wasn't in the HE room after school, so we have to wait until Monday to collect our oranges.


I remember when Ms Koh was introducing all the equipment, then she ask us to take out the chopping board. Then she kept saying "at the side, at the side." Then because everyone started looking through the drawers for their chopping board, when Jeri found it dangling from the window.

LOL.

Hey!!!!

I just got back from watching Beauty World, and it ROCKS. I LOVE IT! They all sing and act so well! Hehs.

My mum brought me there cuz' I begged her to. You know, cuz' I've wanted to watch Beauty World.

The show was GREAT. And the storyline wasn't cliched. And Lulu ended up being Ivy's mother. WOW. I expected it to be Mummy. Not LULU. Somemore Lulu treat her own daughter so bad... but I understand la... she didn't even know Ivy was her daughter. I mean, if your daughter suddenly shows up in the cabaret, and she's the girl you've always hated, how would YOU feel?

I did have ONE BIGBIGBIG problem with the Beauty World storyline. You know, in the end, Ivy still ends up with Frankie. WAHLAO EH!!!! I WANTED IVY AND AH HOCK TO END UP TOGETHER!!!

In the program hor, Ivy and Ah Hock have THREE duets. Ivy doesn't even have ONE with Frankie. What's more, Ivy and Ah Hock got such good chemistry lor... Frankie is NOT compatible with Ivy.

SOMEMORE AH HOCK IS ACTED BY DAREN TAN!!!!

And then at the top row of the Esplanade theatre, there were all these schoolgirls, obviously there on a field trip. (Which student would willingly pay almost $200 to watch a PLAY?) And then when Daren Tan came out for the final bow, they were cheering the loudest la can!

Hehs.

I think the girl who played Lulu is an alto, like me. And the girl who played Ivy is a soprano 1, cuz' in their duet, their voices don't blend AT ALL. And the girl who played Rosemary is a alto too, but lower than Lulu's. Kinda like mine. Hehs.

I was tryING to convince my mum to buy me the soundtrack, but to no avail. Oh well, I guess I could write a few more songs and create a Beauty World of my own.

I'm KIDDING!!! DON'T TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!!!! I need a nap, so I'm feeling REALLY crappy.

Wahhh... it's my 91st post already... so fast nia...

Anyway, even though handphones are "strictly prohibited" in NCHS, 7/8 of the school's population bring their handphones anyway. LOL.

So, I took a few photos of the campus when Claire and I stayed back yesterday, and during recess today when I was SURE there were no teachers or councillors around.

OMG!!!!! I DID IT!!!! I TOTALLY DID IT!!!!!!

STARTING TODAY, I'M OFFICIALLY A MEMBER OF THE NCHS CHOIR!!!!!!

I can't believe I passed the audition with a SORE, SORE throat. Poor Jeri. She has to re-audition on Friday and must save her voice. I can eat as many curry puffs as I want to. Muahahahaha...

Do I rock or what? (LOL)

The day started out pretty ordinary, I suppose. Haha. Though I had a lot of homework.

Went for my first HCL lesson today (The first lesson I was in 1F. Yesterday, my HCL teacher was on MC.)

Mrs Tan lost her voice and couldn't speak, so she was typing out everything in a Microsoft Word document. TO JERI: JERI!!!! WE HAVE A HCL COMMON TEST ON THE 28TH!!!!! DON'T FAIL!!!! Haha.

Then went for Assembly. It was DAMN bloody boring, I tell you. And all the guys had to wear their school tie. So for a while, Afrah and Clarine were running a free tie-tying service.

LOL.

All the guys looked WAAAAAAAAYYYY better and WAAAAAYYYYY smarter in their maroon school ties. (Though I would have preferred a navy blue tie to complement the colour of their shorts. A silver tie wouldn't be that bad, though it would clash with the 7 buttons on a guy's shirt.)

Then basketball trials were at 2.45, so Alicia (1E girl), Claire and me went to grab a bite at the canteen first.

AND THE FRIGGIN' CANTEEN WAS ALL SOLD OUT ON CURRY PUFFS.

Grrr..... Thankfully I was smart enough to keep one from Recess. Hehs...

Then changed to PE attire. (NCHS students have to change out of their PE attire immediately after PE. And they have to wear their PE UNDERNEATH their uni to school. Cuz' our Principal, Mr. Ong, doesn't like students to wear PE to morning assembly.)

Went to the trials.

The trials pretty much sucked, I suppose.

There were stations, like Dribbling, Jumping and Catching, Shuttle Run and Game Concepts.

All the stations were OK, I suppose. But cuz' the seniors were supposed to evaluate us, AND THEY GAVE EVERYONE BLOODY LOW POINTS.

Peggy and Claris's friends Mabel, Huining and Shu Min were there too. Hehs.

Then after the tryouts, the teacher-in-charge, also our PE teacher Ms Toh, told us that we'd only know our results AFTER we submitted in the CCA Option Form.

I was like, WTF. I mean, the Choir auditions were just YESTERDAY, and we already know who got in. And for Basketball, we have to wait until AFTER the CCA Option Form.

WTF./

Anyway, even if I DON'T get into Basketball, I still have Choir. And even if I get into Basketball, I'll STILL choose Choir over Basketball.

CUZ' I'VE WANTED TO JOIN THE CHOIR FOR SO LONG!!!!!!!!

Well, whatever.

So after the tryouts, Claire and I went back to the Canteen to sit down again, and Claire was obsessing that she should have chosen a different CCA, and that she made the wrong choice and yaddayaddayadda.

Then Cindy came down from the International Dance tryouts, and Claire switched to obsessing about why didn't Cindy tell her that she was going to the ID tryouts, and she should have gone along and blahblahblah...

After that went up to 4th floor to find Jolyn, Cindy's cousin, Claire's ex-CHIJ OLN senior and one of the 5 1D councillors.

Then went down to the Hall and saw the Badminton people training without a coach.

BTW, in NCHS, the niche is Performing Arts, so they pretty much abandon the Sports CCAs. IN fact, MOST of the Sports CCAs don't have coaches. Like the Badminton team doesn't have a coach, but the Basketball team has a coach.

Anyway, then Claire started re-obsessing about how she should have gone for the Badminton tryouts instead and blahblahblah, and then CINDY caught the bug and started on how she should have gone for the Basketball tryouts instead of International Dance.

Which left me and Jolyn.

So I started going on about how I shouldn't have stayed back today and why was I so stupid to go for the Basketball auditions when I already got into Choir.

Then Jolyn told us to shut up.

And we did.

So Claire and I sent Cindy and Jolyn off to the front foyer where their parents picked them up, then two of us walked to the bus-stop.

Technically, I walked to HER bus-stop. Then Claire convinced me to talk the 372 with her to Compass Point and then from there take MRT home.

Which I did.

And then after that I tucked out my shirt cuz I realised that with my shirt tucked in (Even though EVERYONE puffs/pulls out their shirt after they've tucked it in) I look like a COMPLETE, UTTER and DOWNRIGHT geek. Not to mention FAT.

Claire got off at Buangkok, while I took the MRT on to Kovan.

Spent 1/2 hour waiting for the BLOODY 112 to come loh! The bloody bus only comes once every 45min.

Came home, called Afrah. Chatted on and on and on. Then SMSed Jeri all her homework.

And then I came online. =)

Ahem... ahem...

In case you're wondering where all the "Ahems" came from, I have a REAL BAD sore throat.

Lemme explain while my mum wraps my journal for me. Hehs.

Stayed back after school today to audition for the Choir, with a FLIPPING SORE THROAT. Sheesh.

The audition started around 2.30, went there with Bernice, WeiQi, Jeri and a few other girls from 1D.

In the Choir room, all the other Choir girls were there for their regular practice.

Blahblahblah, I shan't elaborate la, but we did warm-ups.

Hee, hoo. Hee, hoo. Hee, hoo. (That's DEEP BREATHING for you. >.<)

Then while the girls learnt a new song, the girls auditioning for the Choir had to go to the computer lab to do our audition.

Wahlao, the audition was DAMN HARD la! The conductor played a chord, and then the chord goes higher and higher until your voice breaks. And then she'll go down to the lower range.

A LOT of people sing until the voice like going to break liddat.

Then when it was my turn, I went to tell the conductor that I got sore throat. So after my audition, she went all,"I'll need to hear you again. Could you come back on the second Choir audition on Friday and 1.15?"

And I just said okay.

Something possessed me, I'm sure of it.

BUTBUTBUT, there's just something in me that makes me want to be a part of the NC Voices. Haiixxx.... HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO GET MY VOICE BACK BY FRIDAY AND POLISH IT????????

Why in the world did I shout myself hoarse at the Orientation Camp?

Geez. Okay, going to complete my History and Geography assignment, and decorate my English journal and start on my Literature drawing.

Secondary school life is going to be tough, I can feel it.

BUTBUTBUT, I had to remove the Eternal-BFFs part. But it's okay. When I change my skin again some other time, maybe I'll add that in again? You never know=)

But for now, I'm pretty contented with my blog. Hehs.

AND until I learn to blend images in GIMP (I don't think GIMP allows you to blend images, but I still have to TRY), it's HIGHLY unlikely that I'll make a new skin. Unless I can come up with some brilliant skin idea that does not involve any Advanced Photoshop skills or the software.

HELLOS!

Back from NCHS camp, and let's say it was OKAY. Not exactly VERY good lah.

Let's just say that after this orientation camp, I've begun to like NCHS more.

I think I'm actually beginning to like NCHS, even though the uniform sucks like hell, the classroom walls are like prison walls. (I'm NOT kidding! The windows are so blardy small luhhs. =.="

Okay, I shall use abit of Jeri's post for this. LOL.

You know the guy from Kinship? Jinsha and Nai-ge's son? The Xiao Bin? HE'S IN NCHS!!! And he's also a student councillor and the CO conductor.

And NCHS camp had good points and bad points la.

First of all, I'm in class oneDEE. D for DONKEY. D for DYNAMITE. (Which, BTW, is our class name.) D for DOLLAR.

And I met LOADS of new people, like:

Jeri. (I already know her, but she's in 1D too.)
Afrah aka DRAMA MAMA. (She ROCKS. She's CRAZY, WEIRD, and REALLY dramatic.)
Claire aka DRAMA QUEEN. (She ROCKS too. She's CRAZY too!!!!)
Ash.
Clarine.
Mabel. (She knows Peggy and Claris! Aiyo, Compassvale's 6-1 people are everywhere=))
Audrey.
Bernice. (She's REALLY nice. And maybe partially crazy.)
Rachel (Yixuan). (I already know her, but she's in 1D too.)
Cindy. (She's really nice, but really quiet.)

And the GUYS:

Jun Han aka HARRY POTTER. (HE LOOKS LIKE HARRY POTTER. Sheesh.)
Jason. (Quietquiet wan. =.=")
Bryan. (He's what most people would call a nerd, but he's really very, very, very sweet and really willing to participate in lotsa activites. LOL. Afrah and I talk to him ALOT.)
Amyrul. HE REMINDS ME OF AMYRUL+MUHAIMIN. Appearance-wise, Amyrul. But like Muhaimin, he's really funky.
The guy Jeri calls Handsome/Alien. AND HE WENT INTO THE GIRL'S TOILET TWICE OKAY?

The BEST part of NCHS camp was playing DARE & DARE! SO FUN LA!

And Afrah is SUPER STEADY la! You ask her do any dare also can wan! Hehe... Jeri kena a lotta times, I only kena twice. Cuz' we spin the bottle, then cuz' I sit where the bottle not likely to reach. HAHA.

At night, we slept in the Hall. They on the air-con (Actually, it's on most of the time.) and then got partition in between. The partition was made out of TABLE TENNIS TABLES folded vertically. TABLE TENNIS TABLES, I TELL YOU!

Wahlao, then air-con in the Hall is like no air-con liddat nia. DAMN HOT LEH! But it's probably cuz' everyone was sleeping so close together. I remember Jeri slept on the first night in between two people's LEGS. Muahahahaha.

Afrah and I met this *ahem* on the second day. AND THEN WHENEVER WE GO "Ahem, ahem" THEN JERI WOULD GO ALL,"Cannot stand you guys leh!"

Hahahah.

They have a VERY STRICT fitness regime at Nan Chiau. In the morning at 7am, supposed to run ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. And we did sit-ups and boy-style-push-ups on the second day. We were also made to run 3/4 round of the school. NOT ENOUGH LOH!!!! I WANNA RUN MORE!!!!! Cuz' 3/4 round of NCHS is kinda like 1/2 round of Rosyth. Or maybe it's cuz' I've been working out a lot lately. xD.

The food there was basically HORRIBLE. The rice was dry, chicken burnt and dry, the veggies TOTALLY bitter, and the fish was cold inside. Basically you get the idea.

And BATHING. Don't remind me about the bathing time. You know how long the girls had to shower?

4MINS.

I'm NOT exaggerating. Ask any oneDYNAMITE if you don't believe me. In fact, just ask any NCHS Sec 1 girl. Cuz' they only have ONE toilet that has shower cubicles, and that one only has EIGHT cubicles.

And we have almost 400 Sec1s.

So the girls wash their hair in the TAP. Ewwwwww. Then you go into the bathroom with soapy (1st day) or wet hair (2nd day) and have to WAIT for your turn.

Then the second day, they turn off the lights every 3mins. Like, wahlao eh laa!

Second day, I never wash hair. So I just went into the cubicle and SHOWERED. Wahlao, I just turn on the shower only ah, the counsellor come knocking on the door asking me to get out.

Like, WTF la!

Then we did class cheer. We were supposed to PERFORM it on Parent's Night, in front of all the parents, the councillors, the PRINCIPAL, Mr Ong, and even some teachers. I mean, not just our class, EVERY class.

Our cheer goes like this:
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Power, strength and might,
We'll win every fight, alright? (Alright!)
Our spirits are high, our class is hot.
Dynamite rocks right to the top!

(So.....)

We gotta plant the dynamite, and win it all!

The power strength and might part is from the G.I.GEMS camp Outlaws cheer. Aiyo, I until now still can remember roughly lehhs.....

LOL.

Then we were performing right, got 2 rehersals. The first rehersal was OKAY la. The second was VERY GOOD. So after the 2nd rehersal, I was SO scared I would forget my lines. So in the class queue I was like, going over my lines until now I can memorize liao.

THEN WE WENT ON STAGE. Cuz' Afrah, Amyrul, me and Bryan were supposed to be the cheerleaders, standing in front of each group.

Thenthenthen, on stage right, EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE, forgot their lines. I guess it's because of nervousness. But everyone suddenly like, cannot recall lines, is like DAMN scary nia.

Even AFRAH forgot her lines. But thank god, 1D had a saviour.

ME.

Cuz' while everyone forgot their lines, I memorize the cheer until sian already. So I remembered, and shouted them. And then the other 3 catch up loh. Ask any oneDYNAMITE if you don't believe me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Janelle's 13 New Year's Resolutions:

1. I will be a better person, inside and outside.
2. I will slim down.
3. I will get slimmer thighs and a smaller butt.
4. I will save $500.
5. I will stop spending so much money.
6. I will write a novel. (I wrote 3 of them in P5, and 1 in P6.)
7. I will go for singing lessons (I promise myself)
8. I will learn the guitar and one day or another be as good as Nic. (Promise to myself.)
9. I will stop biting my fingernails. (This has been my resolution for 3 years and until now, I still have not stopped biting my fingernails. =.=")
10. I will stop yelling at the 2 "R"s and ruining my voice.
11. I will have more compassion for those people who are abandoned, friendless and need someone to be there.
12. I will be a better friend.
13. I will MAKE more good friends and make my Sec1 year at NCHS the best yet, even BETTER than this year.

Okay, I TOTALLY saw Gurmit Singh SING on the Countdown 2008. And Jade Seah shake her booty. And Joakim looking totally unlike himself. And I TOTALLY LOVE SHAUNA SIMON'S RENDITION OF "HATE THAT I LOVE YOU".
